The brand promise is "real SGD numbers, real trades, every Sunday." This is the page where I make good on it.

Every Sunday morning SGT I update the numbers below — allocation, P&L, subscriber count, engines added or killed. Anyone reading Asia Compounder can verify the actual state of the experiment in 30 seconds without combing through past issues.

Current snapshot

Last updated: 25 May 2026

The five engines, today

Floor (dividend ladder / T-bill ladder / MMF). Not yet started. Planned: opening an Endowus Cash Smart position by end of June with whatever sits in the cash reserve.

Asymmetric Swing #1 — Stock screener watchlist. SGD $2,000 deployed. Position count and YTD return: too early to report — the watchlist is still being calibrated and most weeks will be zero trades. Numbers begin reporting in earnest from issue #4.

Grinder — BTC trading bot. SGD $1,000 deployed. Trades month-to-date: 0. By design, the bot trades rarely — most months are zero. P&L will be reported when a trade closes. Cumulative trades since launch: 0. The discipline of not trading is the whole point.

Asymmetric Swing #2 — Micro-SaaS or angel check. Not yet started. Earliest start: Q4 2026, once the Multiplier engine has either revenue or audience that informs a useful bet.

Multiplier — Asia Compounder. 3 newsletter subscribers · 10 X followers (@asiacompounder, account 4 days old) · 932 Instagram followers (legacy, rebranded from a previous account) · 3 pillar articles published.

Capital deployment

  • Trading sleeve deployed: SGD $3,000

  • Cash reserve (not yet deployed): ~SGD $7,000 (rough — will commit a precise figure in issue #1)

  • Total tracked capital: ~SGD $10,000

This week's moves (launch week)

  • The brand kicked off Monday 19 May with the domain, the Beehiiv newsletter, and the X account.

  • Three pillar articles published: The Thesis, Six Leaks, Five Engines.

  • Custom OG cards designed and uploaded for all three articles.

  • Six Leaks thread posted on X with a CTA to asiacompounder.com.

  • Google Search Console verified — site is now in the crawl queue.

What I'm thinking about

Whether to deploy the Floor engine this week via Endowus Cash Smart with SGD $2-3k of the cash reserve, or wait for the next 6-month T-bill auction. The MMF wins on liquidity; the T-bill wins on yield by ~30bps. For the size of the position, the liquidity probably matters more. Leaning MMF — will commit next Sunday.

This page is the single source of truth for what's actually happening across the five engines. The Sunday newsletter unpacks the moves; this page logs the state.
